Synapse provides collaborative software that automates & streamlines the training development process. As we continue to grow and keep up with client demand, we’re looking to meet people who are excited about learning, problem-solving, and want to build something impactful.

We’re now looking for an Account Executive (AE) to help the company drive net new business sales into strategic named accounts. You will take over qualified prospects during the sales cycle to further assess client needs, conduct software demos, handle objections and navigate procurement processes to close deals. Initially, you will be working directly with our CEO and will be one of the founding members of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly understand and communicate Synapse’s value proposition
  • Work as part of the sales team to implement value-selling processes
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Use consultative selling to build value-driven relationships with prospective customers and help them achieve their business goals
  • Work as a team to deliver the best customer experience always

Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years in software sales (SaaS)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter
  • Experience working with CRMs such as SalesForce and other Sales Automation Tools such as Outreach
  • Demonstrated initiative, negotiating and coaching skills with experience, domain expertise, and consultative selling skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with the ability to work well with cross-functional groups

  • Own the back-end of our cloud based platform

We would like you to have:

  • Familiarity with common back-end frameworks and APIs, authentication models, data storage and retrieval methods
  • Familiarity with React.js and Redux
  • Experience with Learning Systems and Content Management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with large volume and high performance data persistence techniques and ability to create and manage application assets
  • Proficiency with tools and techniques that support key aspects of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Familiarity with delivering solutions in multi-tenant environments and supporting multiple concurrent clients
  • Familiarity with high availability and scalability concepts
